Garvald Edinburgh Puppetry at Visual Arts Scotland
The Garvald Puppetry Performance Group are thrilled to be part of this year’s Visual Arts Scotland Centenary exhibition Now and Then. The exhibition will take place throughout August at Dalkeith Palace.
“We are so excited to perform our puppet show Where The Wild Things Are,” says Jasmin Sutherland, Puppetry Workshop Leader. “We are also delighted to have 2 photographs of our performance in the exhibition.
In our show Where The Wild Things Are there are vibrant colours, magical light and shadows. There are lots of sparkling butterfly puppets. There are beautiful handcrafted headdresses and costumes. There is dreamlike dancing and live music and soundscapes. You can also enjoy this in our photographs.
We hope lots of people can come to see our performance because we love performing for audiences. We can’t wait to share Where The Wild Things Are!”
