Brian’s commission of 15 Georgian style chairs for the Botanic Cottage at the Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens.

In December 2023 Brian delivered his final chair to the Botanic Cottage at the Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens.

Brian has been working exclusively on this commission of 15 unique chairs for the Botanics since 2015 (only breaking for a brief while due to the COVID 19 pandemic). It has been a great privilege for Brian and Garvald Woodworkers to be part of such a prestigious project. A true legacy project for all involved. Thank you to everyone at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, especially Laura who has been a real cheerleader for the project and is, probably, Brian's biggest fan.

Brian has now moved on to new projects but will always have the knowledge that he was a big part of a very special project.
