• Scotland to Switzerland Sponsored Cycle - Garvald Edinburgh’s well loved staff member Massa Ando is setting off on a 1,500km journey to Switzerland to visit the Goetheanum - the world centre for the anthroposophical movement founded by Rudolf Steiner. Massa is cycling to raise funds for Garvald Edinburgh and faces a 10 day journey from Edinburgh over to Holland, down through Germany into mountainous Basel in Switzerland. • Heritage Lottery Good News for Garvald
  Garvald Edinburgh has received a grant of £43,100 from the Heritage Lottery fund to support our project “Celebrating Potential – The Garvald Edinburgh Story”. We will be celebrating and sharing the stories of the achievements of all the members of our community and preserving the historical record of their lives. We hope to encourage understanding and give a voice to an under-represented group and share this precious story with the wider public. The project will involve an exhibition, written record and short film and we have recruited a Heritage Project Co-ordinator from April 2012 to deliver the project.
